polyurethane square column

A polyurethane square column is a decorative, load-bearing-looking element made of polyurethane with a square cross-section, used as a wall-mounted pilaster or a free-standing column. It is used at entrances, in living rooms, hallways and facade corners to create vertical emphasis and a partition appearance. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied to the floor and wall with mounting adhesive; unlike heavy stone columns, it needs no additional support. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted after priming to match the colour of the room. Because it is mould-cast, the shaft profile and surface details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces square columns in a range of sizes compatible with matching capitals and bases.
