polyurethane coving ornament
A polyurethane coving ornament is a relief motif and ornamental element added to or placed on the coving cornice line. It is used at the corners or central section of coving, or around a ceiling rose, to create emphasis. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the coving or ceiling surface with mounting adhesive. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted after priming to match the colour of the room. Compared with plaster ornamentation it is lighter and faster to install, and unlike wood it is not affected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the details of the ornamental motif repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces coving ornaments in a range of motifs and sizes.
