Polyurethane Arched Jamb Applications

Polyurethane arched jamb applications cover polyurethane framing work where the straight jambs at the edges of doors and windows are installed together with the curved arch above. In application the jambs are placed vertically along the sides of the opening, and the upper arch profile is joined with these jambs to form a complete frame. It is used indoors and outdoors around windows and doors. The polyurethane material is light and is applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster shortens installation labour; unlike wood, it is not affected by moisture. Because it is cast in a mould, the jamb and arch share the same section.
