Polyurethane Corner Bead

A polyurethane corner bead is a decorative or protective element in the form of a thin batten, made of polyurethane, applied to wall or surface corners. It is used to protect outer corners against impact and give the corner transition a neat finish. It is preferred on wall corners, board edges and panel joints. The polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Being light, even a thin bead is easy to fix and the risk of breakage during handling is low. As it is mould-cast, the cross-section profile stays the same on every piece. Polure produces its polyurethane corner beads in a range of widths and cross-sections.
