Polyurethane Precast Elements

Polyurethane precast elements are the general name for polyurethane decorative elements that give a concrete precast appearance on facades and in interiors. They cover different elements such as surrounds, cornices, sills, columns, bases and panels; they are produced from lightweight polyurethane instead of heavy concrete. The elements are fixed directly to the surface with construction adhesive and screws. The polyurethane material resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted; on the exterior facade it withstands outdoor weather conditions. Being far lighter than concrete precast reduces handling, crane and installation costs. Since the elements are mould-produced, the dimensions and details repeat identically on every piece.
