Polyurethane precast design is the process of determining in advance the sizes, profiles and placement of polyurethane decorative parts to be used on facades and in interiors. It covers the dimensioning and composition of elements such as surrounds, cornices, columns and mouldings according to the building facade or space. Because the polyurethane material is mould-produced, the profile set in the design repeats identically on every part, which provides consistency across the facade. The material is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted; these properties keep the design intact for a long time. Since installation is faster than concrete precast, the transition from design to application is shorter.
