Polyurethane precast techniques are the production and installation methods used to manufacture polyurethane decorative parts in moulds and apply them to facades or interiors. In the production stage, liquid polyurethane is poured into the mould carrying the profile of the part and removed once hardened; the installation stage covers surface preparation, adhesive application, filling of joints and painting. Because the polyurethane material is lightweight, installation is done with adhesive and screws and requires no heavy structural support. The material resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted. Compared with concrete precast, it is more practical in terms of labour and time.
