polyurethane fireplace jamb

A polyurethane fireplace jamb is a polyurethane profile element that wraps the edges of the fireplace opening and frames the fireplace. By bounding the side and top edges around the fireplace, it forms a defined frame. Polyurethane is light and is fixed to the wall with mounting adhesive or screws; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and can be painted. Being lighter than a stone or marble jamb, it is easy to carry and install. The surface can be painted with a marble, wood or solid-colour effect. Because the jamb profile is mould-cast, the section and ornament repeat identically on every piece. It is joined at corners with cuts at the appropriate angles.
