polyurethane surround and door frame

A polyurethane surround and door frame is the complete frame formed by polyurethane casing profiles that wrap and visually frame a door opening. The side profiles and top header together emphasise the edges of the door; a crown or keystone can be added where needed. It is used at exterior facade entrances and on interior doors. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied with construction adhesive and dowels; it resists moisture, frost and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. It is lighter and faster to fit than a stone or timber frame and adds no extra load to the facade. Because it is cast in a mould, the profile detail repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces door frame surrounds in various widths and models.
