Polyurethane precast production is the process of producing facade and interior decoration elements in series by casting polyurethane in moulds. Elements such as surrounds, cornices, columns, ceiling roses and borders are prepared with this method. Production takes place by pouring liquid polyurethane components into a patterned mould where they cure, so every piece comes out with the same profile and detail. Because the elements are far lighter than cast concrete, they are easy to handle and are applied with construction adhesive. The produced parts resist moisture and impact, do not crack, do not blister and can be painted. Mould-based production provides part consistency and fast supply on large projects.
