Polyurethane applique

Polyurethane applique is a decorative relief motif element used to add ornamental relief detailing to walls, doors, fireplace surrounds, or furniture. It is applied by adhering in classical furniture restoration, decorating door panels, accentuating fireplace mantels, or centering within wall panels. Compared to carved wood appliques, it is far more economical and provides consistently sharp detail. Unlike plaster or polyester, it is shatterproof, highly impact-resistant, and will not crack. Thanks to its lightweight structure, it carries no risk of falling from vertical surfaces. It can be painted with any furniture or wall paint and is ideal for gilding, patina, or antiquing finishes. It is produced by uniform polyurethane casting in high-definition metal moulds.
