Precast decoration products are ready-made decorative elements cast in moulds beforehand and used on building facades and interiors. They include parts such as window surrounds, cornices, columns, ceiling roses, brackets and panels. Classic precast products are cement-based; polyurethane precast products provide the same classic look with a lightweight material. The parts are cast in factory moulds and applied on site with mounting adhesive. Polyurethane is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted; this makes it more durable outdoors than plaster and timber equivalents.
