Precast interior decoration is embellishment carried out on interior walls and ceilings with decorative elements cast in moulds beforehand. It covers parts such as ceiling roses, coving, cornices, columns and wall panels. While traditional precast interior elements are plaster-based, polyurethane elements offer the same classic form in a lightweight material. The parts are cast in factory moulds and applied directly on site with mounting adhesive. Polyurethane is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted; this makes it more durable than its plaster equivalent in humid environments.
