Precast Door Frame

A precast door frame is a decorative surround element cast in moulds beforehand that wraps around a door opening. It emphasises the entrance by wrapping all four sides or three edges of the door and creates a clean transition between the wall and the door. While traditional precast door frames are cement- or plaster-based, polyurethane door frames achieve the same look in a lightweight material. The parts are cast in factory moulds, mitred at the corners and applied to the wall on site with mounting adhesive. Polyurethane is lightweight, resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Mould production ensures the frame profile has the same cross-section on all edges. Polure produces precast door frame models in various profiles and sizes.
