Precast Polyurethane Manufacturing

Precast polyurethane manufacturing is the process of producing decorative building elements in series in moulds using polyurethane material. First the part's profile is taken and its mould is prepared; then liquid polyurethane components are poured into the mould, cure, and are released from the mould. With this method, elements such as window surrounds, cornices, columns and panels are produced repeatedly at identical dimensions and detail. Compared with cement precast production, polyurethane manufacturing yields lighter parts, which makes transport and installation easier. The produced elements resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and can be painted. Mould production allows the same model to be reproduced at the same quality on different projects.
