Precast ceiling decor is the general name for polyurethane ceiling roses, cornices, and borders used on the ceiling surface. It is preferred on the ceilings of residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and commercial spaces to add depth and ornament to a flat surface. Polyurethane is lighter than plaster and is applied directly to the ceiling with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister, or peel, and can be painted. Thanks to its light structure, ceiling installation is easy even for one person and labour time is shorter. As it is mould-cast, the pattern details repeat exactly on every piece.
