relief ornamentation

Relief ornamentation is decorative work created by applying raised patterns and embellishment to the surface of polyurethane decorative products. It is used on wall, ceiling, cornice and column surfaces to achieve a textured, detailed look. Classic, baroque and traditional patterns are mould-cast so they repeat at the same depth on every piece. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. It is more break-resistant than plaster ornamentation and, unlike wood, is unaffected by moisture. When painted after mounting, the relief detail comes forward. Polure manufactures relief-ornamented products in a range of motif and size options.
