Roman column base

A Roman column base is the base part at the bottom of a Roman-style column that connects the shaft to the floor and raises the column. It is used to form the lower section of polyurethane columns in living rooms, entrances, facades and garden structures, and to seat the shaft properly. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied to the floor and shaft with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted. Being far lighter than a stone or plaster base, it is easy to carry and is unaffected by moisture outdoors.
