soffit ornament

A soffit ornament is a polyurethane decorative element applied to the underside of the roof eaves. It is used to embellish the eaves line and to accent the junction between the facade and the roof. Polyurethane is lightweight, so it can be fitted easily under high eaves with construction adhesive and, where needed, a screw. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell outdoors, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with a plaster or timber equivalent, it is unaffected by damp and installs faster. Because it is mould-cast, the ornamental pattern repeats identically on every piece, forming continuous decoration along the eaves. Polure produces soffit ornaments in a range of motifs and sizes.
