Fireplace side decor is a polyurethane element placed on the sides of a fireplace unit for profile and ornamentation purposes. It is used to define the side edges of a decorative fireplace and soften the transition to the frame. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or warp and can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the details repeat identically on every piece and the right and left edges look symmetrical.
