window trim crown

A window trim crown is the profiled, usually embossed polyurethane top-cap applied to the upper edge of a window trim. It is used to emphasise the top of a window frame and add relief to the facade. The polyurethane trim crown is lightweight and applied with installation adhesive over the trim; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Being lighter than gypsum or stone alternatives, it makes installation on upper floors easier. Polure produces the trim crown in different widths and profile options using moulds, with the profile detail repeating identically on every piece.
