Ceiling decoration products is the general name for decorative polyurethane elements used to ornament the ceiling surface, such as medallions, panels, cornices, beams and trims. They are used on living room, hallway, office and shop ceilings to frame lighting, break up a flat surface and complete the ceiling-to-wall transition. Polyurethane products are lightweight; they are applied directly with mounting adhesive and need no extra support. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Compared to their plaster equivalents they are lighter and faster to install, and unlike wood they are unaffected by moisture.
