A ceiling-wall joint trim is a polyurethane decorative profile applied to the corner where the ceiling meets the wall, neatly closing the transition. It is used in living rooms, hallways, bedrooms and offices to conceal the angle at the corner and turn the ceiling-wall joint into a clean line. The polyurethane trim is lightweight; it is applied directly to the corner with mounting adhesive and needs no screws. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster cornice and easy to cut, corner joints are completed quickly, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-produced, the profile cross-section is the same along all lengths, giving a seamless look at the joins.
