villa door surround

A villa door surround is a polyurethane frame profile applied around villa entrance and interior doors. It is mounted to the side and top edges of the door to emphasise the opening and create a detailed transition between the wall and the door. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with dowel-supported mounting adhesive; it resists moisture, frost and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than its stone or wood surround equivalent, it speeds up installation and adds no load to the wall. Because it is mould-produced, the surround profile and relief details repeat identically on every piece, and corner joints sit neatly.
