Moisture-Resistant Exterior Ornaments
Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these exterior elements offer high impact resistance and wood-like mechanical durability with a lightweight design that puts only a limited load on the structure. Their closed-cell structure keeps water absorption under 1%, ensuring they will not rot, swell, mold, or suffer frost damage in harsh winter conditions. Rated B2 for fire safety, their dimensional stability has been tested in -20 °C / +70 °C. Factory-coated with white acrylic primer, they must be painted outdoors with UV-resistant exterior paint. Installation requires a dual system: continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on all contact faces combined with mechanical screw fixings. Fill screw holes with facade filler and sand smooth before painting.

Frequently Asked Questions
What material is used for Polure waterproof exterior ornaments?
Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details.
How do waterproof exterior ornaments perform in rain and freezing weather?
With water absorption under 1%, they will not absorb moisture, rot, swell, or crack, and their dimensional stability has been tested between -20 °C and +70 °C.
How are waterproof exterior ornaments installed on outdoor walls?
Apply continuous PU assembly adhesive to all contact edges and secure with countersunk screws. Screw joints to each other, fill with facade putty, and sand smooth.
Is silicone adhesive permitted for exterior ornament installation?
No, silicone is strictly forbidden because it lacks structural bonding strength. Only polyurethane assembly adhesive paired with screws must be used.
What paint is required for waterproof exterior ornaments?
After lightly sanding the factory white acrylic primer with 180-220 grit sandpaper, paint with an elastic, UV-resistant exterior paint to prevent fading.
