Fluted Column Casing

Fluted column casing is a polyurethane edge moulding used together with fluted column elements to frame door and window edges. Casing is the frame element that surrounds and emphasises an opening; when used with fluted columns, it forms a unified classical composition on the facade or indoors. It is used to define window and door surrounds on the exterior and transition openings indoors. Being made of polyurethane, it is lightweight and easily bonded to the wall with adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or warp, and its surface can be painted. Polure produces the column and casing elements in proportions that match one another; their profile details and dimensions are kept standard. This way, when the casing is combined with the fluted column and other facade profiles, the corner and joint points align cleanly and a consistent look is achieved after installation.
