round column

A round column is a decorative or load-bearing column element with a circular section and cylindrical shaft. It is used indoors and on exterior facades to divide areas, emphasise transitions, or create a classic architectural feel; it is applied as a complete column made up of shaft, base, and capital pieces. Round columns made from polyurethane are much lighter than real stone or concrete and mount easily and quickly. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and can be painted; they do not change shape under exterior conditions. They can also be applied as cladding over an existing column.
