Soffitti a cassettoni e orditure : Come calcolare il numero di travi decorative, determinare l'interasse ottimale e fissarle a soffitto con tasselli a scomparsa.
La disposizione corretta delle travi a soffitto in finto legno richiede la scelta della direzione dell'orditura e il calcolo del passo proporzionale.
Avvertenza Strutturale : Travi Esclusivamente Decorative
- Surface Inspection and Layout Marking — Inspect the ceiling surface to ensure it is clean, dry, and structurally sound. Using a chalk line and laser level, mark the centerlines for each beam based on your calculated 80 to 120 cm center-to-center axis grid.
- Installing Wood Cleats or Mounting Blocks — Fix wooden mounting blocks or continuous timber cleats along the marked centerlines using suitable wall anchors and screws. These cleats fit inside the hollow U-channel profile to provide mechanical anchor points.
- Miter Cutting Beams at 45-Degree Angles — Measure the required length for each beam line. Cut corner intersections and butt joints cleanly at a 45-degree miter angle using a fine-toothed hand saw or a low-speed miter saw.
- Applying Polyurethane Assembly Adhesive — Apply a continuous bead of high-tack polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive along the top contact edges of the U-channel beam. Silicone adhesives must never be used, as they lack required bonding strength.
- Mechanical Screw Fastening — Press the U-channel beam over the fixed ceiling cleats. Drive countersunk screws through the sides of the polyurethane beam directly into the timber cleats. Mechanical screw fixing is mandatory for safety.
- Joint Fill, Sanding, Priming, and Painting — Fill screw holes and joint seams with suitable filler. Once cured, sand smooth using grana 180-220 sandpaper. Applying an additional primer coat is optional; finish by applying two coats of topcoat paint. For exterior applications, UV-resistant paint is mandatory.
Fase 1 : Tracciamento e Interasse Ottimale (80–120 cm)
Tracciate a laser gli assi delle travi paralleli al lato corto della stanza per allargare visivamente lo spazio per aste in densità 150-220 kg/m³ (obiettivo di produzione ~160 kg/m³).
Fase 2 : Fissaggio dei Blocchetti Guida in Legno (Tempo : 25 min)
Tassellate blocchetti di legno ogni 80 cm lungo la linea tracciata a soffitto calcolando tolleranza a -100 °C / +80 °C.
Fase 3 : Taglio e Calzatura della Trave Cava (Tempo : 35 min)
Tagliate le travi da 3000 mm con tolleranza 10%, inserite adesivo adesivo di montaggio a base PU (indurimento in circa un’ora) all'interno e avvitate lateralmente ai blocchetti.
Fase 4 : Coprigiunti e Ritocchi Finali (Tempo : 20 min)
