Manufactured from rigid poliüretan (PU) with a high density of 150-200 kg/m³, these ornaments replicate the structural density and crisp detailing of traditional wood carving or stone masonry while remaining remarkably lightweight. This density range provides an optimal balance of structural strength and ease of handling, avoiding the extreme weight of concrete trims and the fragile nature of plaster molding.

Technical Properties and Environmental Resistance

Exterior facade components must withstand severe environmental fluctuations without structural degradation. Our Söve Süsü profiles maintain dimensional stability under extreme thermal conditions ranging from -20°C to +80°C, ensuring zero warping, shrinkage, or expansion. Engineered with a closed-cell physical structure, the material exhibits a water absorption rate of less than 1%, rendering it completely impervious to rain, rot, and moisture-induced decay. For safety-critical installations, the material possesses self-extinguishing fire-retardant properties, stopping combustion immediately once the external flame source is removed.

Surface Finishing and Paint Compatibility

Every Söve Süsü ornament is delivered with a protective, factory-applied primer coat that seals the surface and prepares it for final finishing. This factory primer is compatible with high-quality water-based and synthetic exterior paints. However, paint manufacturers typically do not guarantee paint adhesion unless their own proprietary primers are applied directly to the substrate first. Consequently, the application of an additional primer layer prior to final painting is optional and remains the sole responsibility of the client.
