Empire style plateau designs

Empire style plateau designs are polyurethane plateau and ceiling decorations that carry the symmetrical, monumental and classical motifs of the 19th-century French Empire (Empire) style. They are used on living room, reception and entrance hall ceilings to create a classical look. Polyurethane plateau elements are lightweight and are fixed with assembly adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell and can be painted. The palmette, laurel leaf and straight-lined reliefs typical of the Empire style are mould-produced. Being lighter than a plaster equivalent makes installation easier and reduces the risk of breakage. Because they are mould-produced, the motif details repeat identically on every piece.
