boiserie moulding

Boiserie moulding is a slim-profile polyurethane decorative moulding used to form panel and frame patterns on the wall surface. It is the core piece of a boiserie application; rectangular or square panel sections are drawn on the wall to achieve a classic look. Polyurethane is lightweight and is bonded directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or blister and can be painted the same colour as the wall. Because it is lighter than wood moulding, it is easy to cut and install and is not affected by moisture. Since it is mould-cast, the same cross-section is maintained along the length of the moulding. Polure produces boiserie moulding in a range of widths and profile options.
