facade profile

A facade profile is a polyurethane moulding and band element applied to create plain or ornamented lines on a building's exterior. It is used at floor divisions, around windows, along eave lines and at corner transitions, dividing the facade with horizontal and vertical lines to give it order. Polyurethane is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster equivalents it lasts longer outdoors and installs faster. Polure casts facade profiles in different widths, depths and profile sections, so the profile line repeats identically on every piece.
