decorative wood cover

A decorative wood cover is a cover or closing element made of wood-effect polyurethane for decorative purposes. It is used in interiors to conceal elements such as service vents, socket boxes, columns and pipes, or to give a decorative surface. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, warp or rot, and can be painted in wood tones. Unlike real wood, it is unaffected by moisture and is lighter; because it is mould-cast, the texture and form are identical on every piece.
