Decorative Arcade Systems
Decorative arcade systems are structures formed by polyurethane arch and column components that frame arched passages and wall openings. They are used to give an arched architectural look to door, window and living room passages; jambs, columns and arch pieces are applied together. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixes directly to the surface with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. Being far lighter than a stone or plaster arch equivalent, it is easy to install even on high openings and needs no additional support. As it is mould-cast, the pieces join together in a matching way. Polure produces decorative arcade systems in various arch sizes and profiles.
