decorative border profile

A decorative border profile refers to the polyurethane profile that forms the cross-section of a border applied as a band on the wall. The profile cross-section may be plain, stepped or ornamented, and is used to create decoration on horizontal or vertical lines on the wall. The polyurethane material is lightweight and fixes directly to the wall with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell, or warp, and can be painted. Because the cross-section stays constant along the profile, the joints meet neatly. Being lighter than its plaster equivalent, installation is quick on long runs. As it is mould-cast, the profile pattern repeats the same on every piece. Polure produces decorative border profiles in a range of cross-sections and widths.
