Decorative wall panels is the plural name for polyurethane cladding pieces applied to the wall surface, carrying a relief pattern or frame. They are used on living-room, bedroom and corridor walls to create panelling and surface ornamentation. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applies directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Unlike wooden panels they are not affected by moisture or insect damage, and they are lighter than plaster. Since they are cast in a mould, the pattern details repeat identically across pieces.
