It is used to divide the wall horizontally, create panels and separate different colour or texture areas. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applies directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. Unlike a wooden moulding it is not affected by moisture, and being lighter than plaster, cutting and installation are quick.
