A decorative relief is a polyurethane ornament that rises from a surface as a raised element, giving a three-dimensional appearance. It is used on wall panels, ceiling roses, and above fireplaces and doors to add pattern and depth to a surface. The polyurethane relief is light and applies directly to the surface with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and takes paint. Being lighter than a plaster relief, it puts no load on the wall, installs faster and holds no water. Because it is mould-cast, the raised detailing repeats identically on every piece.
