Decorative Ceiling Cornice

A decorative ceiling cornice is a profiled polyurethane transition and finishing element applied to the corner where the ceiling meets the wall. It is used to frame the ceiling edge, soften the corner, and, where needed, create a back recess for concealed lighting. It is among the most widely used elements in interior ceiling decoration. Polyurethane cornice is lightweight and applied directly to the corner with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster equivalent, it installs quickly without loading the ceiling and does not crumble in damp environments. As it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section is identical on every piece, and corners are cut to join neatly. Polure produces the decorative ceiling cornice in a range of widths and patterns.
