Decorative wheel models are polyurethane ornaments that imitate a cart or wagon wheel, mostly used in rustic and country styles. They are used as accessory pieces in wall decoration or in garden and interior decor. The polyurethane body is far lighter than a real wooden wheel and can be applied with construction adhesive or screws. It resists moisture, does not rot or attract insects, does not crack, and its wood-textured surface can be painted in any colour. When used outdoors, it carries no risk of rot as wood does.
