An exterior facade fretwork panel is a polyurethane cladding panel applied to the building's outer surface in plate form, featuring perforated or cut-out patterns. It is used to clad facade surfaces, the fronts of balconies and balustrades, and entrance areas with a patterned surface. The polyurethane material is lightweight; the panel is fixed to the facade with adhesive and screws. It resists moisture, rain and UV; it does not crack, blister or rot and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster panels it does not break, and compared with wood panels it does not absorb moisture, while its lower weight makes handling and installation fast. Because it is mould-produced, the panel pattern repeats identically on each piece, so the pattern stays continuous when panels are placed side by side.
