Exterior facade profiles are the general name for polyurethane sectional elements that form decorative and bordering features such as moldings, window surrounds, cornices and sills on a building's outer surface. They are used to define facade lines around windows and doors, between floors and along roof eaves. Polyurethane profiles are lightweight, so they can be installed easily on tall facades with construction adhesive and screws. They resist moisture, frost and impact; they do not absorb water, crack or blister, and they can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster or concrete equivalents, the handling and labor load is low. Because they are cast in moulds, the profile section and surface pattern repeat identically on every piece.
