Exterior Column Design

Exterior column design refers to the layout in which the shaft shape, capital type and base proportions of a column for a building facade are determined. Columns suitable for entrance, balcony and terrace facades are planned according to plain, fluted, twisted or classical arrangements. Polyurethane columns are lightweight and applied with construction adhesive; they resist moisture, rain and outdoor weather, do not crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Because they weigh less than stone or concrete, they add no extra load to the facade and install faster. As they are mould-cast, the profile details in the design repeat identically on every piece.
