An exterior soffit ceiling panel is a polyurethane cladding panel with a plain or patterned surface applied to outdoor ceiling surfaces such as soffits, canopies and entrance ceilings. It is used to clad covered outdoor ceiling areas and give them a neat, decorative surface. The polyurethane panel is lightweight and applied with construction adhesive and, where needed, dowels; it resists moisture, damp and temperature changes, does not crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior-grade paint. Because it weighs less than wood or plaster equivalents, it adds no extra load to the ceiling and installs faster. As it is mould-cast, the surface pattern repeats identically on every panel.
