exterior facade cornice profile

An exterior facade ceiling profile is a polyurethane element used along the soffit and ceiling lines of a building's exterior to emphasise horizontal transitions. It forms a clean linear band at the junction between the facade and the eaves, acting as a decorative border across the upper edge of the wall. Polyurethane is lightweight and resistant to moisture, weather and temperature swings; it will not crack, blister and can be painted. Because it is far lighter than plaster or timber equivalents, it can be fitted quickly on tall facades with construction adhesive and mechanical fixing. Since each piece is moulded, the profile section repeats identically and produces a continuous run along the whole facade. Polure manufactures exterior facade ceiling profiles in a range of sections and sizes.
