outdoor column

An outdoor column is a polyurethane decorative column used in open areas such as building facades, entrances and gardens. It consists of shaft, base and capital parts; it is used as a vertical accent on the facade and as cladding for structural columns at entrances. Polyurethane is lightweight and resistant to moisture, impact, sun and temperature swings; it will not crack, blister and can be painted. Being far lighter than stone or timber, it is fitted quickly with construction adhesive and mechanical fixing; in two half-shells it can wrap an existing structural post. Since it is moulded, the fluting and details repeat identically on every piece. Polure manufactures outdoor columns in a range of diameters and heights.
