Exterior door refers to the application area of the polyurethane decorative elements that frame the surround and upper section of the doors used at a building's main entrances. The entrance line is emphasised with parts such as door surrounds, an upper arch, a keystone and a pediment. Polyurethane is lightweight and resistant to moisture, impact and outdoor weather; it will not crack, blister and can be painted. Being lighter than plaster or timber, it can be fitted quickly around the door with construction adhesive and mechanical fixing.
