Interior Decorative Column

An interior decorative column is a polyurethane decorative element used in interior spaces to create the look of a vertical support or to divide space. It usually consists of a shaft, capital and base; it is used as a half-column set against a wall or a free-standing full column in living rooms, entrances and transition areas. The polyurethane column is hollow and lightweight and is applied with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Because it is much lighter than plaster and stone alternatives, it is easy to carry and install and does not absorb moisture and deteriorate.
