indoor column
An indoor column is a polyurethane element in a classic column form, applied to an interior wall or open space for decorative purposes. It consists of shaft, base and capital pieces and is used as a vertical accent in living rooms, entrance halls and openings. It can be applied as a full (round) column or as a half column set against a wall. The polyurethane material is light and installs with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or blister, and can be painted. Being far lighter than a stone or plaster equivalent, it can be carried by one person and installs quickly. Because it is mould-cast, the fluting and capital details are identical on every piece. Polure produces indoor columns in a range of diameters and heights.
