antique columns with Corinthian capital

Antique columns with Corinthian capital are polyurethane decorative column sets whose shaft is completed by a Corinthian-order capital with acanthus leaves. They are used in entrances, living rooms, column cladding and facade decoration to achieve a classical architectural look. The column shaft is clad over a load-bearing pillar, while the capital is placed on top of the shaft. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being far lighter than stone and plaster equivalents, it is easy to install and adds no load to the structure. Because it is mould-cast, the acanthus leaf details repeat identically on every capital. Polure produces Corinthian-capital columns in different shaft diameters and heights.
